A moisturising powerhouse, shea butter is an ivory coloured natural fat, extracted from the shea tree’s nuts in its native Africa, where it’s been enjoyed as a beauty ingredient and cooking oil for thousands of years. The unctuous butter is a must-have ingredient in cosmetics today, thanks to its rich and intensely nourishing texture that is particularly compatible with our skin. In a cold climate like Sweden’s, shea butter’s exceptionally hydrating and restorative qualities are highly appreciated.
