Almonds are the source for one of beauty’s most soothing and nourishing ingredients, sweet almond oil. Produced from the almond tree’s fruit, almond oil has superb moisturising properties for skin, hair and nails and is protective and hydrating, thanks to its vitamin A, B and E content. The almond fruit itself is a multi-purpose beauty ingredient – we also use almond shell powder in our cosmetics for its natural, exfoliating action.  

Juniper berries’ fresh pine-like flavour is widely used as a culinary spice and drinks flavouring. The evergreen berries have anti-microbial properties that help to cleanse, balance and purify the skin and have long been used in folk medicine as an antiseptic. Juniper berries also contain vitamin C and sugar-like components that contribute towards its antioxidant properties, helping to protect the skin against harmful free radicals and encouraging a healthy complexion.
